Oh please don't turn Werewolf the Apocalypse into AD&D! No equipment lists! Argh! :) Anyway. You've made your first Rank 1 Garou. Did you remember to take Garou Lore of at least 1 (the litany, how to sidestep, etc.)? Okay, assuming your Rank 1 knows that he/she/it is a Werewolf and all that jazz, then here are five VERY useful things to remember/think about: 1. Makeup compacts or small mirrors like what Boy Scouts buy for their camping kits. Remember, when your character sidesteps into the Umbra he/she/it needs a reflective surface. Might be nice to have one on hand right? Also, don't forget to have your character leave that mirror behind so that the character will always know where at least ONE reflective surface is, so he/she/it can get OUT of the Umbra. 2. Are your Clothes dedicated? Do you have a dedicated Backpack? The stuff your character doesn't have the Gnosis to dedicate and carry around (or is too big to fit into pockets) may still be needed in the Umbra or in the real world once you get out of the Umbra. Stuff it in a dedicated backpack. Also, you can't drag living matter (or undead) into the Umbra, but what about all those Fomori bodies lying around? Somebody in the group should have a dedicated body bag to help dispose of the evidence? (it might be nicer to ask your storyteller to invent some kind of level one fetish to help dispose of bodies, especially if your character is the type of concept that would not carry around a body bag) 3. You the player, bookmark or write the Litany on the back of your record sheet. 4. Money, credit cards, jewelry? Is it dedicated or carried in pockets/bags? 5. What forms are your stuff dedicated to? Your trench-coat stays with you in all five forms or just homid? Those bowie knives, are they in homid and glabro only, or glabro only and look like tatoos in homid form. Being Garou is a great way to get past metal detectors. :)
